A weekend of Friends , Scrapping ,and Shopping

Well, My weekend was fabulous! My friend and I ( Maegan) drove down to Portland to the Creating Keepsakes Convention, This is our third year going, in the past we had met up there, this time we went together.
First off we left late, ( I will blame that one on Maegan). And then we stopped and had lunch halfway there. By the time we got there and checked in our hotel it was close to 2 in the afternoon. We got to the convention center to meet up with a few more friends, one of which we were very late to meet up with,(Cindy) So we only had about 1/2 hour to spend with her, and I felt really bad, cause I was really looking forward to seeing her, and I would have enjoyed spending more time with her.
Anyway, after standing in many lines to buy things I Didnt need, I was spent out, and worn out. I ran into a friend from up here , and we sat and chatted for a while. Nice to see her, it was.
Maegan and I had dinner, then walked back to the rail, where some strange man overheard our conversation about normal people ( should we take the rail back to the hotel, was it safe?) I had said yeah, there should still be enough "normal peopl out".. so the very NOT normal strange man overheard us and started talking about who is normal, blah blah blah... I found some very normal ladies to stand next too and made it look like I was with them.
We went back to the hotel and scrapped all night, me with my stuff all over the place, Maegan in Bed with her laptop scrapping her way.
Saturday, Scrapped all day, only to stop and eat, We met up with our friend Carrie, and had dinner and a blast scrapping...We laughed alot and we talked about her and her DH coming up for a Mariner game and go with us like we have in the past. it was a fabulous weekend all in all. Maegan and I left for home around 9 this morning, and while I did have a great time, I missed the house and the boys, and Scott. The worst thing about Scrapping out of the home, is putting it all away, it will stay in my totes for a few days to come I am sure.

LOL! I had a great time meeting you all, too. Where the heck did you guys stay that you had to take the rail? I guess I assumed you were staying by the convention center!!! I am really looking forward to going to Bellevue.
