What a great day! Any day that its not raining in Seattle is considered a great day for Baseball, but what makes it even greater for me is that I am not working, so I can see it!
Just a quick note about today's game: Jake's team won 18-3, they beat the "best team" in Tahoma, but who's to say they are the best, the season just started... But the boys were all pretty happy that they beat them. It was a slaughter as you can tell by the score, (Jake Batted twice in one inning). He had a couple of great hits and a walk, and made some great defensive plays at 3rd, so he was happy with his game today. Note the picture below, the ball coming off the bat, Good timing on my part if I do say so myself!
Sam enjoyed watching Jake play too, and he enjoyed playing with another little boy from the team.
I should be outside chopping up my roses, I hate those darn things, and every year I say I am going to dig them up, and Scott tells me no... I HATE them... so I chop and chop and keep them small in the summer so I dont have to deal with them too much, I am so NOT a gardener....
So glad I am off today, I was cutting fabric at work all night last night ( huge $1.00 a yard sale) one lady got 100 yards, 5 yards each, off twenty different bolts... I was not liking her after that one. I stopped asking people what they planned on doing with their cheap fabric after the 5th customer, Honestly, I dont care what they are going to do with it, and I wasnt going to pretend all night long that I did care.... So I just cut their fabric with a smile and thanked them whey I was done.
Ok, Off to the rose bushes....

You crack me up. I feel the exact same way about small talk. I really don't care and am not going to waste my time pretending. Isn't that terrible?!?
I am so glad that you called The Scrapbook Nook to find out about interviewing. I still have my fingers crossed for you.
